Charity of the year 2011

Our charity in 2011 was St. Joseph's Centre for the Visually Impaired. We raised over €1,100 for this wonderful centre, money which was really well used. 

Charity of the year 2012

Our charity this year is the Huntington's Disease Association of Ireland (HDAI). Huntington's Disease is an inherited disease of the central nervous system. It is estimated that 400 people in Ireland have the disease and there is currently no cure. HDAI is a national voluntary organisation established to provide information, counselling and support to those diagnosed with Huntington's and their families. 

Apart from donating 10% of my download sales to this fabulous organisation, I am also currently running a chair yoga class on Monday mornings with all donations going to the charity. So come along, enjoy some gentle yoga and help a great cause!
